Enigma at UCLA

The Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Gaming Club at UCLA

The guys and gals in Enigma run the gamut from undergrads to graduate students and alumni, from the very heart of South Campus, to the statue-infested wilds of North Campus. If you're interested in Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror (through books, art, or film) or if you're interested in Gaming (video games, card games, board games, etc.) - even just a tad, you'll find a home with us.

All Enigma meetings in Ackerman Union and Kerckhoff Hall are open to the public and are free of charge. Students, staff, faculty, and local community members are welcome.

The Enigma Collection

Located in Powell Library, the Enigma Collection consists of books and comics in the genres of science-fiction and fantasy. The donor-based collection has been built and curated by members of Enigma. In 2013, the collection was gifted to UCLA Library to broaden access to the UCLA community.

Book Club

The Enigma Book Club meets every other Saturday afternoon to discuss science fiction and fantasy books. We alternate between the two genres and vote on the books we read to ensure there's something for everyone. If you are interested in joining or have any questions, please email our Librarian, Jenn at jjeannehoffman@gmail.com
