Enigma at UCLA

The Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Gaming Club at UCLA

The guys and gals in Enigma run the gamut from undergrads to graduate students and alumni, from the very heart of South Campus, to the statue-infested wilds of North Campus. If you're interested in Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror (through books, art, or film) or if you're interested in Gaming (video games, card games, board games, etc.) - even just a tad, you'll find a home with us.

All Enigma meetings in Ackerman Union and Kerckhoff Hall are open to the public and are free of charge. Students, staff, faculty, and local community members are welcome.

Book Club

  • The second Book Club meeting of the quarter will be held on Saturday, May 14th at 5pm. The book in question is Lockdown by Alexander Gordon Smith

We held our Annual Officer Elections this week, and we have some new as well as returning faces! Here's Officer Board for 2016-2017:

Website Donations

  • We run this lovely website on the paid platform Squarespace, and as such we're reaching out to members and asking if they would be interested in donating to help keep this thing running!

Maxicon

  • Maxicon is Enigma's yearly convention for Enigmans!
  • We turn an entire house into an organized mini-con with larps and one shot rpgs and TED talks and board games and other yearly enigma traditions. The average Maxicon pulls in somewhere between 40 and 80 Enigmans from all of the eras of Enigma. 
  • The event is occurring over memorial day weekend, May 28th-30th, and is open to all Enigman's, so if you're interested in coming head on over the the Facebook page HERE and RSVP!
